Finally an art director that knows how it should be done. The game looks gorgeous and that would have not been possible if you decided to go with the classic unsatured, boring, grey-brown look that some devs chose. The realistic colourless look is only loved by a vocal minority that put accuracy above anything else, they only focus on gameplay and they would rather play with ASCII graphics if the alternative is some colour. They do not care about visuals at all. However, the majority of players want something good to look at, even if it means sacrifying some accuracy, and the only way to achieve that is putting vibrant colours and visual variety. Good job
