Just happened across this game via a steam recommendation. I am super excited for this franchise and really want to see it grow and succeed. Turn based rpgs have gotten the shaft over the last 20 years. This game is exactly what a lot of us are looking for.

This is my first expeditions, but I'm cautiously optimistic on trying vikings (as I believe that is an earlier release so wont be as refined (i.e. awesome) as this latest iteration).

I'm a huge fan of Solasta (turn based, based on 5e dnd), Battletech (the latest turn based version released in 2018? but also loved mech commander series), Humankind, Civ 1-6, Total War: Empire - Definitive edition, Ultimate General: Civil War, Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail, and Scythe. Oh and all the SSI DND games when they first came out, and every turn based game since. The most common theme in all of them is turn based followed by strategy/world intricacies...real time is ok as long as you can slow it down or pause (thus making it turn based). The fact that this combines both (albeit the world part needs some tweaks) is amazing!

I'd love to see more time period pieces, perhaps native american based, pirates of Caribbean esq, Tzars, Feudal Japan, Mongolia, and/or Mayan (or any other central/s american theme). 

More games like this and I'm literally on board supporting them financially and word of mouth!

Yea, I'm half way through egypt and both of my veles are unstoppable. Most battles last 2-3 rounds max. They can kill 3-4 people per round esp with the right support.

Only objective available is to 'Talk to Sextus'. Every time I try, he just says hi. I've tried saving and coming back in, leaving camp and returning, clicking on him multiple times while in camp. same issue each time.
