So you use Denarii to purchase your available tactics. You research them, but you use money to buy them. That adds another element of management to the game: do you focus on winning legionary tactical battles or on looting or on replenishing and rebuilding your army or taking map resources? ***So the tactics cost money to implement and use....***, you have to choose between gaining a tactical advantage in war or winning on the strategic map via the strategic takeover of resources...
